Explore the world with Yelda and Biplov – an Afghan and Nepalese DJ duo sharing global beats on the dance floor.

TSR is inspired by the true-life historic Silk Road that wound its way through Europe, Asia, and Africa – providing connection and a platform for people of different cultures to interact and discover the uniqueness in each other. 

Today, Yelda and Biplov ignite that same vision of global connection – this time through sound. Yelda brings the light energy: with uplifting tracks that favor emotionally charged vocals combined with rhythmic dance beats. Biplov brings the dark energy: with tracks focused on eclectic elements and basslines.

Their musical diversity combines forces and creates the magic of The Silk Road - a journey that showcases instruments and languages from across the world in an effort to spark cultural curiosity and inclusivity.

Their movement has already taken Seattle by storm, embodied in the creation of CARAVAN – an open format, monthly world music event showcasing both novice and veteran Artists. It is now celebrating over two years of nights at Kremwerk Complex and successful showcases at APOG Festival and Kremfest.

TSR has been thrilled to play support for incredible Artists such as Beats Antique, Gene Farris, Handsome Tiger, David Orin, Jean Vayat, and Etran de L’Aïr. Notable venues include The Crocodile, Q Nightclub and Bogotá, Colombia’s Radio Berlin and BPM. Their mixes have been heard on KEXP, Proton Radio, c89.5, Nitric, and Move Ibiza Radio to name a few.

Now they’re gearing up for the next phase of their mission - developing and producing new tracks to share with the world soon.
